About JP'S L&C llc

Some storms in Overland Park blow through overnight and are gone by six, leaving nothing behind but a still, cold dark and a foot of unbroken white across every driveway on the block. JP'S L&C llc runs those overnight routes alone, one truck working street after quiet street while the rest of the city sleeps through it, headlights the only thing moving between the parked cars and the dark windows. That hour is close to solitary, no traffic, no other plows, just the blade and a radio kept low so it isn't the only company for miles. By the time porch lights start flicking on for the early risers, the driveway's already done and the truck is three streets further along, the whole night's work invisible except for the clean pavement it left behind. It isn't flashy work, running a route alone in the dark, but it's the kind that has a neighborhood dug out before most people even know a storm came through.
