About JJs Landscaping & Labor

The Arboretum holds its cold longer than the rest of Overland Park, all that planted timber shading the ground so a hard frost from the night before is still silvering the grass well into a morning that's already thawed everywhere else. JJs Landscaping & Labor works the neighborhoods around that pocket of woods, where the trick isn't clearing the snow so much as reading which driveways will ice back over by noon under all that shade. It's crew work, more hands than one truck can carry, moving down a block together, one shoveling the walk while another runs the plow, finished in the time it'd take a single operator to do half of it. The frost out there clings to wooden fence rails well past ten in the morning, longer than anyone expects. By the time the crew moves to the next street, the ice underfoot is broken up and salted, whatever the shade decides to do about it later.
