About College Cuts Lawn and Landscaping

By the time the school buses start their loop through the west-side subdivisions, College Cuts Lawn and Landscaping has usually already been through twice — once for the driveways, once for the walk up to the door where a kid in snow boots is about to be standing. That early run has its own energy, trucks moving fast between culs-de-sac still dark under the streetlights, breath fogging every time a shovel comes out for the last few feet a plow can't reach. Overland Park's newer neighborhoods are built loose and wide, driveways curving back long from the street, so there's real ground to cover before the block wakes up. It's quick, a little competitive with the clock, usually finished before most houses have poured a first cup of coffee. And when it's done right, nobody remembers there was six inches on the ground an hour earlier.
