About Odies Irrigation & Landscaping

By late August the ground west of Ottawa toward Pomona Lake has gone pale and tight, and lawns show every dry week in their color. Odies Irrigation & Landscaping mows high through that stretch, letting the blades shade their own roots, trimming and edging so the shape holds even when the growth does not. Cleanup follows — clippings off the drive, beds cleared of whatever the wind carried in. Then the September rain comes and the whole town greens again inside of four days, a return on patience Kansas hands out without warning. Ottawa and the towns around it come back that same way, yard by yard.
