Furlow Lawncare Co.

About Furlow Lawncare Co.

Storms build on the western horizon in the evening here, stacked tall and lit from inside, and Ottawa watches them come the way prairie towns always have. Rain like that means the grass jumps overnight, and by morning Furlow Lawncare Co. has a full route waiting. Mowing, trimming, edging, and clearing clippings and blown-down debris out of the yard — the ordinary work that follows weather. There is real pleasure in cutting a lawn that has gotten ahead of itself and leaving it open and even again. Ottawa, Wellsville, Baldwin City: the storm line crosses all of them, and so does the route.
