About Timber Tree Service LLC

The oldest oaks in Olathe stand around Black Bob Park and the streets that grew up near it, timber old enough to have shaded the town before most of its subdivisions existed. Timber Tree Service LLC knows those canopies well enough to read them in a storm — which limb is carrying too much ice, which driveway sits in the direct path of a crown that's leaning — and clears both the danger and the snow underneath it. A heavy wet snow on mature oak sounds different than it does on younger trees, a low creak instead of a crack, and the crew listens for it as much as they watch the sky. Streets under that old canopy stay shaded and slow to clear on their own, so the plow comes through twice where newer neighborhoods only need it once. By evening the oaks are bare of ice and every drive beneath them scraped to the pavement, the old part of town looking like itself again.
