Olathe Lawn Wizard

About Olathe Lawn Wizard

After a summer rain, Frisco Lake sits flat and silver and the whole town smells like cut grass and wet limestone. Olathe Lawn Wizard works in that window — the day after the storm, when lawns have shot up overnight and want a cut, an edge, and the walks blown clear. Weekly mowing keeps the growth honest; fertilization and weed control keep the stand dense through the swings from soaked to baked. Come autumn the routes turn to leaves, hauled off before they pack down over the crown of the grass. There is a small magic in a yard that looks effortless, and it is made almost entirely of showing up.
