About Huston Contracting Landscaping Company

Out along the interstate the newer side of Olathe runs on trucks and shift changes, warehouse lots so wide a plow can be at it for an hour and still not see the far fence line. Huston Contracting Landscaping Company works those lots before the first shift trucks arrive, headlights cutting through blowing snow that has nothing out there to break it — no trees yet, just open pavement and sky. A wind off the plains this far from downtown carries the snow sideways and drifts it against loading docks faster than a single pass can clear, so the crew doubles back before the lot fills in again. There's a rhythm to it, lane by lane, dock by dock, until the whole yard is scraped to blacktop and the first semis can back in clean. By the time downtown Olathe is stirring, the industrial side has already been open for hours.
