About Favreau Lawn & Snow

At the Mahaffie farm the wagon ruts of the Santa Fe Trail still show in the grass, a fair reminder that people have been crossing this ground a long while. Favreau Lawn & Snow works the modern version of that crossing in October — mowers running through cool air, leaves leaving lawns by the trailer load, beds cut back before the hard weather. Through the growing months it is the weekly rhythm: cut, trim, edge, blow off, gone. Fescue here likes a fall feeding and a fall seeding, and both go in while the soil still carries summer's warmth. Yards handled that way green up early in April, which is the whole argument for autumn work.
