About Brown Brothers' Landscape & Snow

By late November the fescue around Heritage Park Lake has gone the color of straw and the geese have the water mostly to themselves. Brown Brothers' Landscape & Snow works the last mowings of the year in that flat north light, dropping the height a little each pass so the turf goes into dormancy clean. Leaves come off the beds and out of the fence corners and leave with the trailer instead of drifting next door. In April the same yards get their opening cut and the same edges reopened along the drive, and the loop starts over. It is a long, plain circuit of work, and doing it right is the entire point.
