About Larson Lawncare & Landscaping

Newton evenings in early summer are worth staying out for — the heat lets go around eight, the prairie edge out toward Camp Hawk goes violet, and the fireflies come up out of the grass. Larson Lawncare & Landscaping works right up to that hour when the day demands it, finishing a mow while the light is still good and the ground has cooled enough to walk. The lawn work is steady and thorough: cutting, trimming into the corners, edging the walk and the drive, clearing the clippings off the concrete. The landscape side shapes what surrounds it — beds mulched, borders held, plantings kept in scale with the house. A yard finished at dusk has a particular look to it, every line clean, everything at rest and ready for morning.
