T's Kc Clean Out

About T's Kc Clean Out

From the parking lots along Johnson Drive you can just make out the Kansas City skyline to the east, close enough that Mission feels like the edge of something bigger even on a morning when the whole strip is buried in white. T's Kc Clean Out spends most of its year hauling out what people don't want anymore, and in winter that same fleet of trucks gets pointed at driveways and lots instead, working the commercial strip before the morning commute lines up onto the parkway. Homes on the residential streets behind the shops get cleared next, driveway by driveway, walks scraped down ahead of anyone leaving for work in the city. It's fast, practical work in a town built for people passing through as much as staying put. A clear lot and a bare driveway before the sun's up over that skyline is as good a start to a Mission winter morning as there is.
