Basnight Lawn and Landscape

About Basnight Lawn and Landscape

Rock Creek draws its quiet green line straight through the middle of Mission, and on a June morning the fog lifts off it about the time the first mower deck starts turning. Basnight Lawn and Landscape works the blocks that shoulder up to that creek, mowing early while the fescue still holds dew and the shade under the silver maples is worth something. Kansas summer comes on hot and fast here, so the trimming and edging get done before the day turns loud. There is a plain satisfaction in that last pass along a driveway, when the line comes out straight enough to sight down. By the time the walkers head home from the Streamway trail, the whole street looks like somebody loved it.
