Mears Lawn & Landscape

About Mears Lawn & Landscape

Merriam Drive follows the path of the old interurban line down the valley, and the neighborhoods that grew up along it still keep their narrow lots, deep porches and hard-working front lawns. Mears Lawn & Landscape looks after them across the whole growing season, mowing on rotation, string trimming around steps, posts and beds, edging drives and walks, and blowing every surface clear before the trailer gate goes back up. October brings a long leaf season beneath all those old trees, and getting it off the grass before the rains mat it down is half of the fall. The fog along Turkey Creek burns off late on those mornings, which makes for a good hour to begin. Leaving a tidy yard behind on a tight street is a genuine pleasure.
