About LandscapiLandscape

There is a week in late March when McPherson stops being brown. The wind still comes hard across the flat ground, but the turf around Lakeside Park turns, and suddenly every yard in town wants attention at the same moment. LandscapiLandscape meets that week head-on with the first cut of the year, edges reopened along walks and drives, and winter's litter and dead thatch pulled out so new growth has room to move. From there the season settles into its rhythm: mowing, string trimming, and a clean sweep of the concrete, week after week. A lawn that starts spring right is far easier to carry through a central Kansas August, and that is the whole idea.
