About Diamond KC Forestry Solutions

The elms and oaks around McPherson College hold onto their leaves later than the rest of town, which means the first real snow of the year often lands on branches nowhere near ready for the weight. Diamond KC Forestry Solutions is out in that first storm walking the campus-adjacent blocks, easing the load off limbs before an early, heavy snow does the breaking for them. Once the trees are checked, driveways and walks underneath get cleared the same afternoon, working the older streets where the canopy is thickest. It's a job that runs backward from most people's idea of winter work — up in the trees first, down on the ground second. A neighborhood that keeps its shade trees intact through an early storm is worth the extra hour it takes to get to the shoveling.
