About True Neighbor Construction

City Park sits at the heart of Manhattan's oldest residential blocks, sledding hill and all, and it's easy to tell which neighborhoods around it got plowed first after a storm by the tracks in the snow. True Neighbor Construction builds additions and garages in those same blocks most of the year, so winter work means clearing the driveways of people whose houses they already know. A weekend storm gets the same treatment as a weekday one — walks scraped, drives opened, salt down before anyone's out the door for the sledding hill. They work outward from the park in loose rings, one street after another, until the whole side of town can get a car out. It's a small-scale kind of work, and it stays that way on purpose.
