About TerraScape Lawn Care & Landscaping

Bluemont Hill rises straight off the north edge of Manhattan, and every yard on its slopes is a small lesson in grade — water travels, soil travels, and the grass has to hold both in place. TerraScape Lawn Care & Landscaping works those inclines along with the flat lots below: mowing and trimming along the contour, edging that follows the curve of a hillside walk, mulch that stays put in a hard downpour. Aeration and overseeding open compacted slope soil so the roots go where the water already goes. In autumn the hackberries and oaks turn loose and the cleanups begin, running until the beds are clear. A sloped lawn cut well looks intentional, as though the hill agreed to the arrangement.
