About Starks Mowing Service
From the overlook on Manhattan Hill the town sits in the elbow where the Big Blue meets the Kaw, its roofs and yards laid out in green squares. Starks Mowing Service keeps a good number of those squares — weekly mowing, string trimming, edging, and a clean blow-off of every drive and walk. The wind on the north slopes will undo a sloppy job by lunchtime, so clippings go where they belong the first time. Cleanups come in spring and again once the leaves let loose, and cutting height moves with the heat rather than the calendar. Seen from the overlook or from the curb, a straight line is still a straight line.
