About Green Pastures KS

Manhattan sits surrounded by grazing land more than row crops, wide pastures cut by gravel lanes that run for miles between one gate and the next. Green Pastures KS works those same rural properties — the long lanes, the cattle guards, the half-mile driveways that a normal plow truck would never bother with. When a ground blizzard packs a lane shut, getting a family or a herd back to the county road again is the whole job, not an afterthought. Closer into town they clear the shorter driveways and walks the same way, working street by street as the wind lays the snow back down behind them. There's a plain kind of pride in a lane you can drive again by the time chores need doing.
