About Wichita Fertilizing LLC

The dirt under Maize is old prairie ground, dark and deep, and it will grow whatever the weather allows — grass and weeds with equal enthusiasm. Wichita Fertilizing LLC works that side of the lawn: granular feeding timed so the turf takes it in, pre-emergent laid down in the still midmorning hours of spring before the south wind comes up, and broadleaf treatment carried through the season. Nutsedge, crabgrass and henbit each have their window here, and hitting them is a matter of reading ground temperature rather than the calendar. The payoff is a stand of turf thick enough to crowd out most of the trouble on its own. Across Maize and the towns around it, that thickness is the goal of every visit.
