Reed Lawn Management

About Reed Lawn Management

A lawn in south-central Kansas lives on a long calendar: pre-emergent before the crabgrass wakes, weekly mowing through the hard green months, feeding when the roots can actually take it, leaves off the turf ahead of the first deep freeze. Reed Lawn Management works to that calendar rather than to whatever a yard happens to look like on a given Tuesday. Mowing, trimming and edging stay on a fixed rotation so growth never gets away, and the treatments land when the weather cooperates — which on this stretch of prairie is a moving target. Dormancy comes and the Bermuda turns straw-gold across every block in town, and the plan for what follows is already written. Steady management beats heroics, year after year.
