Oasis Lawn Care

About Oasis Lawn Care

By the last week of July the heat lifts off Metcalf Avenue in visible sheets, and a Johnson County yard is either an oasis or it is straw. Oasis Lawn Care mows high through those weeks, blades kept sharp so the grass is cut rather than torn, and the color holds through a Kansas August. Trimming gets done close around fence posts, mailbox poles and the AC pad, then the bed lines are re-cut so the mulch stops and the turf begins in one crisp stroke. Fertilization and weed control are timed to the season rather than the calendar, because summer here punishes anything applied at the wrong hour. Come evening, when the cicadas start up and the sprinklers tick on down the block, the lawn is the coolest thing on the street.
