About Preferred Lawn Service & Landscaping

Late October in Lecompton, the cottonwoods along the river go yellow all at once and then let go, and every yard from the bluff down to the tracks needs clearing. Preferred Lawn Service & Landscaping takes that stretch on — leaf removal, the last mows of the year, trimming and bed edging, and the cleanup that settles a property before the ground hardens. There is a quiet hour at dusk when the freight sound carries up the valley and a yard just finished looks wide and swept and ready. Through the growing months the same route handles mowing, trimming and landscape upkeep on the town lots and the acreages out along the river road. Lecompton is small enough that the work is visible from the street, which is reason enough to finish it all the way.
