EZ and Sons

About EZ and Sons

Lecompton sits up on its hill and the Kansas River does the rest of the work below — sandbars, cottonwoods, and the long green bottomland that turns humid and loud with cicadas by July. EZ and Sons runs the mowers through that heat, cutting, trimming, edging and clearing clippings on the town lots along the slope and the wider yards out toward the bottoms. Grass grows fast in valley ground with the river that close, so the rotation stays honest and the cuts come when they are due. The trucks head down the hill in the morning cool and work back up as the day heats, and by evening the whole street reads even. Small town, plain work, carried all the way to the edge of the drive.
