About Holy Ground Mowing and Snow Removal Services

Leavenworth sits up on its bluff above the Missouri River, and on a winter morning the fog off the water can climb halfway up the hillside before the sun finally burns it back down. Holy Ground Mowing and Snow Removal Services works the driveways and walkways of the city's older neighborhoods, clearing paths on streets that have looked out over that same river bend since before Kansas was even a state. Snow here often arrives carrying a river-born dampness that makes it heavier and stickier than what falls farther west, slower to move but quicker to pack into ice if it's left alone too long. The crew moves through the older neighborhoods perched along the bluff and out toward the newer subdivisions on the flats below, clearing driveways down to pavement and treating the front steps of the bluff-side homes. By the time that river fog has finally lifted for good, the walk to the car is already done.
