About TurfPros Of Lawrence

By late July a Lawrence lawn is being asked a lot: ninety-some degrees, a hot south wind, and rain that keeps its own calendar. TurfPros Of Lawrence answers it at the blade — cutting high so the crowns keep some shade, clean cuts instead of torn tips, and a route that finishes the northwest side of town before the heat stacks up over the open fields past Rock Chalk Park. Trimming and edging complete the picture, and clearing the drive keeps clippings out of the street. Fall brings aeration and overseeding, which is where next summer's lawn actually gets built. A good stand of turf is a year of small decisions showing up all at once.
