Total Lawn

About Total Lawn

Early on a Lawrence summer morning, mist lifts off the low ground and the sidewalks along the older streets still hold the cool of the night. Total Lawn likes those hours — mowers running before the heat settles into the streets, wheels tracking the narrow side yards between houses and the wider lawns rising toward the edge of town. There is a real satisfaction in an edge cut clean against a sidewalk that has carried years of footsteps, and in a strip of grass out front that finally looks looked-after. Mowing, trimming, edging, fertilizing, and the cleanups that bookend a growing season: the work is plain, and the difference shows from the curb. The days never stop moving, and neither does the grass, so the crew keeps a steady rhythm all summer long. Lawrence yards first, with the nearby towns close behind.
