About Tim's Tree & Lawn Service

Brook Creek runs east through Lawrence behind a lot of back fences, and the yards along it are damp and green and forever sprouting volunteers. Tim's Tree & Lawn Service knows those lots — the soft ground you mow around for a day after rain, the sycamore limbs you duck, the strip between the fence and the water that goes waist-high if you leave it a month. Work runs late in August, dusk coming on slow and gold, the trimmer cleaning up the last fence line while fireflies start over the grass. Shrubs get shaped, beds get cleared, leaves get hauled once the season turns. A back yard that was let go and then brought back is one of the better things to stand and look at.
