Rick's Land Management

About Rick's Land Management

South of town the land opens into the Wakarusa valley, where properties are measured in acres and the fence lines run under hedgerows of Osage orange. Rick's Land Management takes on that kind of ground — the long lots, the ditch banks, the back half nobody has touched since June. Rough grass comes down, edges get pushed back to where they belong, and the yard around the house is mowed and trimmed to a clean line so the whole place reads as kept. Late fall suits the work: growth has quit, the leaves are off the walnuts, and one thorough pass can carry a property through to spring. There is real satisfaction in watching a piece of ground go from shaggy to shaped in a single day.
