About Picmart Lawn Care & Services

North of the bridges the ground goes flat and the soil turns black — river bottom, cottonwood country, the old depot standing at the end of a straight street. Picmart Lawn Care & Services keeps the yards out here through a spring that arrives fast and wet, when the grass jumps two inches after every warm rain and the mud has to be timed around. Mowing gets done between storms, the trimmer follows the fence lines and the gravel edges, and beds get re-cut where winter blurred them. By late May the cottonwood seed drifts down the street like snow and the walks need blowing twice, which is fair enough for living where the river left the best dirt in the county. Every property gets the same going-over: cut, trimmed, edged, cleared.
