About JDC Construction LLC

Before the sun clears the ridge above Tonganoxie Creek, JDC Construction LLC is already out working the frost off gravel lanes that wind through Leavenworth County's rolling fields. Winter here comes sideways, blown in across open corn stubble, and it piles into the low spots along the creek bottoms before anyone in town has poured their coffee. The crew clears driveways and lot entrances block by block, working out from the brick storefronts on Main Street toward the farmsteads scattered along the ridgelines. There is a particular satisfaction in a straight plowed edge against a white field, in a church lot or a grain bin road opened clean before the day's business starts. JDC Construction treats every stretch of pavement — commercial or residential — like it matters that people can get where they are going, storm or no storm.
