About Iron Root Property Services, Inc.

Douglas County ground is heavy clay over limestone, and by August it bakes down hard enough to ring under a boot. Iron Root Property Services, Inc. keeps lawns going through that stretch — mowing high so the crown holds its own shade, trimming where turf breaks against curb and rock, edging the walks so a property keeps a defined line even when growth slows. Rental blocks, houses and small lots, each on a set turn, each left tidy before the truck moves on. When September's rain returns the grass is still there to green up, which is the point of the summer's discipline. Lawrence, Eudora, Baldwin City and Overbrook.
