About EM Lawn & Outdoor LLC

A February dusk in Lawrence is a particular color — the sky purple over the rooftops, snow squeaking underfoot, everything gone still except the scrape of a shovel somewhere down the street. EM Lawn & Outdoor LLC is often that scrape: driveways plowed, walkways and front steps cleared to the surface, salt and sand laid where the sun never reaches. Storms can come in with real wind behind them, so the drifts rebuild in the same three spots every time and get hit again. Coming home to a driveway that is simply open, with no debate about it, is a small mercy on a winter night. That is what the work is for, in Lawrence and the towns that ring it.
