VRB Lawncare

About VRB Lawncare

The first warm Saturday of spring finds half of Lansing outdoors at once, garage doors up, everybody looking hard at a lawn nobody has touched since November. VRB Lawncare is already rolling by then — spring cleanup, the season's first mow, edges cut back to the concrete, fence lines trimmed, walks blown clear. From there it runs weekly all summer, the same yards on the same day, the grass never given a chance to get ahead. Down the streets near the old depot the lots sit neat and close, and one sharp lawn makes the next one want to match. That is a fine kind of pressure to be part of.
