Martz Bros. Lawn and Tree Care

About Martz Bros. Lawn and Tree Care

September up by Wyandotte County Lake tips the hills toward gold, the mornings cool enough for a jacket and the afternoons still good for working. Martz Bros. Lawn and Tree Care runs the lawns along those wooded lanes — mowing, edging, string trimming, and clearing cuttings and early leaf fall off the grass. Yards carved out of hardwood timber are half sun and half shade, and they never grow at one speed; the north side is still lush while the south side has slowed. Reading that difference is the craft of it. What gets left behind is an even lawn tucked into the trees, holding its shape until the first hard frost.
