Escobar Tree and Lawn Service

About Escobar Tree and Lawn Service

August in Argentine comes in loud — cicadas in the elms, heat lifting off the rail yard, the afternoon gone white by two o'clock. Escobar Tree and Lawn Service is out in it early, mowing, trimming along fences, edging the drives and blowing the walks clean before the worst of the day. Grass in this part of Kansas City, Kansas grows hard through a humid summer and forgives nothing that gets rushed. So the work goes at its own pace: full passes, square corners, nothing left in the gutter. By the time the shade comes back across the street, the yard looks like somebody cared about it, because somebody did.
