Terry's Mowing -N- Then Some

About Terry's Mowing -N- Then Some

East of town the Flint Hills roll up in long limestone-ribbed waves, big bluestem standing shoulder-high by August, cicadas grinding away until well past dark. Terry's Mowing -N- Then Some works the tamer cousin of that grass — town lots, wide country yards, and the fence line nobody else wants to walk with a trimmer. The name reads honest: mow the lawn, then the string trimming, the edging, the sweeping up of whatever fell where it should not. A yard finished at dusk on a hot evening, mower ticking as it cools, is a good thing to look back at from the truck. Junction City and the ground around it get that same run week after week.
