About Telebec Inc.

Down in the Smoky Hill bottoms the cottonwoods let go all at once in October, and by the weekend half of Junction City lies under a yellow drift. Telebec Inc. takes that on the way it takes the rest of the calendar's lawn work — mowing while there is still growth in the blades, then leaf cleanup, then the last low cut before the ground goes hard. There is real satisfaction in a yard raked out to bare turf with the light stretching long and orange across it. Come spring those same lawns get the first pass of the year, brown to green in an afternoon. Honest work, on river ground that has always grown things well.
