Big Joe Clean Cut

About Big Joe Clean Cut

There is a particular pleasure in a cut line — the exact place where turf stops and the sidewalk starts, clean as a ruled margin. Big Joe Clean Cut chases that line through Junction City's older blocks, where the walks were poured generations back and the grass has been quietly reclaiming them ever since. The mower comes first, then the trimmer, then the edger cutting a narrow seam that makes the whole yard look intentional. Sticks and leaves get gathered up, the concrete gets blown off, and nothing is left behind but the smell of cut grass. On a still evening on the east side of town, that finished edge is the difference between a lawn that was mowed and a lawn that was tended.
