About J & C Tree Service

West of Independence the ground lifts into post oak ridges above Elk City Lake, and trees take on the character of whatever they are rooted in. J & C Tree Service reads that difference job to job — a hilltop oak asks for different pruning than a shaded bottom-ground elm on a town lot. Summer here is long and heavy, so trimming is timed to take the deadwood out before August makes the decision for you. Tree removal begins with the patient part: rigging the piece, setting the fall, keeping the grass beneath it undisturbed. And when a storm strips a fencerow, cleanup starts at the road and works inward until the place opens back up.
