Swartz Lawn Service

About Swartz Lawn Service

Hutchinson keeps rockets in a museum downtown and a very large sky over everything else, and on a clear autumn night the stars come all the way down to the horizon. Swartz Lawn Service works the daylight end of that — mowing, trimming, edging, and the fall cleanups that get a yard down to bare, honest ground before the cold sets in. Kansas leaves come off in a hurry once the first real wind arrives, so timing matters and a rake is never quite enough on its own. A finished lawn in late October has its own particular look: short, striped, swept clean, beds tidy and the walks clear. Then the days shorten and the town settles into that long prairie hush.
