Sutton Lawn And More

About Sutton Lawn And More

Late-spring storms announce themselves early in Hutchinson — a hard blue line in the west, cottonwoods flipping their leaves over, then rain that makes the grass jump three inches overnight. Sutton Lawn And More lives in that part of the calendar, cutting between systems, catching a lawn on the single dry morning it offers. The "And More" is the rest of it: trimming, edging, hauling off whatever the wind knocked down, cleanup that leaves a yard actually finished instead of merely mowed. There is plain pride in pulling up to a place that got away from somebody and pulling out with it squared away. Big sky, straight lines, everything cut before the next front arrives.
