Dixon Lawn Care

About Dixon Lawn Care

North of Hutchinson the ground rises into sand dunes, old river sand piled up by wind and held down now by bluestem and cottonwood. That sand runs under a lot of yards in town, and grass grown on it asks for a mower that knows the difference. Dixon Lawn Care mows, trims and edges through the whole growing season, then clears the leaves when the cottonwoods let go in October. There is a particular pleasure in the first cool morning of fall, when the cutting gets easier and the yards start looking settled for the year. The work doesn't change much; the light does.
