About Lawn Pro

Out in Stevens County the sky takes up most of everything, and Hugoton lives beneath it with a flat horizon, a hard sun and a wind that never fully quits. Keeping a lawn green this far into southwest Kansas is a deliberate act, and Lawn Pro treats it like one. Mowing is timed to the cooler edges of the day, blades left tall enough for the turf to shade its own roots, edges cut clean along the walk so the yard keeps a shape the wind cannot blur. Clippings come off the drive, the trimmer squares up the fence line, and the whole place ends up looking intentional against all that open country. When the sun drops orange over the high plains, a well-kept yard out here is a small and stubborn kind of beautiful.
