About BeckerCare Tree Service

The Little Arkansas River curls along the edge of Halstead, lined with cottonwoods that BeckerCare Tree Service has spent plenty of warm months pruning back from the power lines and the streets nearby. Come the cold months, the crew trades saws for shovels and blades, working those same riverside blocks and the streets that spread out from them under a sky that tends to hang low and gray for days at a stretch. Halstead is a quiet rail town, and a fresh snow tends to hush it further still, footsteps and engines muffled until the plows start moving. The crew works the routes near the river first, where cold pools heaviest and ice tends to linger longest in the shade of the bank. By the time the morning trains pass through, the streets behind them are already clear.
