About Kelly's Garden Sense | Greenhouse & Landscaping Design

March in Barton County cannot be trusted — seventy degrees on Tuesday, sleet by Thursday — so the season starts under glass, with the greenhouse fogged and everything green waiting on the last frost. Kelly's Garden Sense grows into that gap, then carries the plants outside into landscape designs drawn for real Kansas conditions: full sun, hard wind, a sky that gives no shade for free. Beds get laid out, plantings set, mulch worked in around them, and the lawn kept trimmed so the design reads clean from the street. There is a particular joy in coming back in July to find a planting doing exactly what it was drawn to do. Gardens here are made, not found, and Great Bend makes good ones.
