About Fox Lawn Care

Northeast of town the ground sinks into Cheyenne Bottoms, and by October the marsh is loud with birds working their way south over Barton County. Fox Lawn Care spends those same shortening afternoons on the grass side of the county line, cutting lawns down for the season and hauling off what summer left behind. Autumn work is unglamorous — the last mowings, the leaves raked out of the fence corners, the beds emptied of spent growth — and it is exactly what makes April easy. A yard put to bed properly looks calm all winter, even bare. Out here the light goes gold about five o'clock, and a finished lawn takes it well.
