About Briggs Lawn Care

Great Bend is named for the turn the Arkansas River makes here, a long unhurried curve that swings the whole county around with it. Briggs Lawn Care tends the yards inside that bend, where the soil runs sandy and first light comes up flat and wide over the water. A mowing line laid straight across a front yard is a small kind of order, and it holds all week. Edges are cut clean along the walk, clippings blown back off the concrete, beds left square at the end of the pass. There is real satisfaction in handing a place back looking settled, in a town that was shaped by a river taking its time.
