Village Landcare

About Village Landcare

Late August hangs heavy along Highway 24, and Grantville waits out the afternoon for the hour when the heat finally loosens its grip on the yards. Village Landcare tends lawns through that long, dry end of the Kansas summer, keeping grass mowed and borders trimmed when everything would rather go shaggy and brown. Cicadas carry on in the hedgerows and a pickup hums past on the highway, while the fresh-cut grass lies in long, orderly rows that catch the low gold sun. It is lawn care in its plainest and most satisfying sense: the yard you pull into at dusk looks tended.
